Health Care Worker Vaccination Deadlines Extended in Some States

The federal government has extended the COVID-19 vaccination deadline for certain health care workers in states where the rule was paused during litigation. On Jan. 13, the U.S. Supreme Court allowed the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to proceed with the directive in states that challenged the rule.
